He believes they can still improve their servant heart to bring complete satisfaction to their customers he calls guests. It demonstrates a pure servants heart to keep getting better. It ‘s a great attitude considering their employee turnover is less than a third of the national
Average, also in light of the fact that their sales are equal or better than their competitors who are open seven days a week ( Chick-fil-A is closed Sundays).
20. We rediscover, again, strength is in our weaknesses.
2 Corinthians 12:9 But Jesus said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
“Humility is either a choice or consequence.” When we try as hard as we can often things won’t work as we planned. Many times I read about a great new technique that another company uses…but often it fails to work for me. Learning the hard way, who’s really in control, is a sobering lesson. My strength is in Him. The Lord opens doors and wants me to accomplish His work not my own personal ambition. We have all heard the old saying, “If you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans.”
